corques liquid lino:

the frederick walton collection

Frederick Walton (1834 – 1928) was an English pioneer and researcher.
In 1857 he discovered a method using vegetable oil
to produce a floorcovering.

This discovery lead to his most famous invention: Linoleum. This was the start of a long and fruitful Linoleum era. To this day his entrepeneurship is beyond any doubt a milestone in the history of flooring. To honour his unique efforts, Duracryl is proud to present a special collection named after him.

NATURE PROVIDES THE GOOD STUFF

part of the corques family

The new samples of the Frederick Walton Collection are part of our Corques flooring range. Corques is a linoleum floor based on natural materials such as linseed oil, cork and mineral fillers. A beautiful product that has its origins in the invention of Mr Walton himself.

The flooring type is highly flexible and seamless and is widely implemented in the educational sector, the medical sector, offices and museums.

earthly colors
and warm tones

Although the Corques range already consists of 54 colours, we were still missing some earthly colours to really complete the collection.
With the Frederick Walton Collection, we have been able to add those desired colours to the range.

The colours were composed by our own experts in consultation with some of our valued partners/architects. The earthly tones form the basis to showcase natural materials such as wood and granite even more beautifully.

Choosing the right colour is often easier said than done. After all, a floor should last for decades. So what colour and material should you choose?

At Duracryl we are happy to advise you perfectly.
